Toddlers are so pure. She doesn’t understand that we help her with certain things because she’s little. She thinks that everyone just helps each other like that. So she tries to blow on my food and cut it up for me and tries to help me put on my shoes.
My toddler is incredible – she’ll literally grab a broom and sweep up whilst I’m cleaning, and when I push her stroller into the house after a walk she’ll grab the front and pull it into the living room. She also brandishes snacks at me if I’ve not eaten and will bring things into a room when asked. She’s so eager to help, she’s a really lovely person.
My two year old is the same way. The other day I hurt my leg and said “ow!”, she ran to me and asked if I was ok and when I told her I just had an owie she hugged me and went “Oh, baby! (She obviously copied that from me since that’s what I say when she gets hurt, lol) It’s ok, it’s ok, I got you” and kissed me. Toddlers are so pure.
“I visited the
pumpkin patch yesterday and decided to bring home a pumpkin that in
shape appeared to be a penguin. Friends and family were mystified until I
started painting him.“
