when it comes to complimenting someone on talent, drawings, singing, any talent. dont self doubt yourself while doing so. you may not mean it or know it, but it really puts us down more than brings us up…

Tearing yourself down is not a compliment. It does no good to the people you think you’re praising by doing so, and it certainly doesn’t do yourself any favors.
Plus it’s uncomfortable as all hell for the artist.
